Hello everyone. My 04 yukon denali is getting a "service air bag" on the vic when the seat position is in a particular location. A friend said that there is a sensor the tells the airbag how far back the driver is from the steering wheel, and that it has a bad connection. Has anyone had this issue? Any tips?

Also, back in my jeep grand cherokee days the service manual was readily available to download online. I've searched on here and google and can't seem to find the pdf anywhere. Is my only option to buy it on ebay? Thanks all.

I just thought I'd add to this for anyone searching. Just move your seat forward and look behind it. You'll find a wiring harness that is mounted to the floor. Disconnect and adjust the metal contact connectors as needed to ensure a secure connection and that will fix it.
