Hello , new here and to Chevy Tahoe. Question about a 14 Z71. I see the headphone Jack on the radio and worked well with playing music from my phone but it can't charge it . I also see the USB in the center console , again works well playing music and charges phone but doesn't let me hear phone calls through the car. is there anyway to combine the two so I can listen to music , charge and have phone conversations through the car?
    Thanks

Old question that I hope you have an answer to by now, but the console plug will do exactly what you experience... play music directly from the phone (iphone anyway). The only connection to hands free calls is via the bluetooth connection. So (at least in my 2012 LTZ), bluetooth will only support calls and to stream music, you must be plugged in to console USB port or headphone input.

OH, and note that the console port does charge the phone but not at a very high amperage. So if using the phone to stream music and GPS at the same time, it will not keep up with battery usage (but better than nothing I guess).
