So I just put a new muffler on the tahoe and I made the mistake of letting my wife to be the first to drive it. As we were driving the two blocks home she called me and started to complain about how loud it was.:cuss: Since I was not in the car I denied it all. Once we got home I drove it and noticed that it was a tad louder but not much. So my thought is: Do you think that if I put a couple of squares of Dynamat right above the muffler that it will help with cabin noise?
I put on a magnaflow but I went with an 18in instead of the 22. I was going to put a 14in on but was talked out of it (that is a whole other argument for later).
By the way when I was cutting off the old muffler I just had to see how it would sound straight piped......WOW!!!!!!!!!!!

Let me know what you think.
