im pretty sure this is a common swap but just checking before i spend money. is it possible to swap the center jump seat that folds up and down between the front bucket seats for the solid plastic floor style that runs up to the lower side of the dash? here are a couple pix to show the parts i'm talking about.

jump seat i have and wanting to get rid of (this is for an 07, but its similar)

the center console that i'm wanting to install

Also, i'm pretty sure that some of these "plastic" consoles have the bose speaker and amp inside.but, my truck didn't come with the bose stereo, will there be anything special that i need to do to make the sub work. will i have to buy a bose factory head-unit? running the wires isn't a big deal, just don't know what kind of wiring needs to be ran? [ amp-power/remote/grd & the 2 speaker wires?]
:umn:
i also notice that some of the "plastic" consoles have 2 rear air vents in the back. would i be able to hook those up? maybe with some factory ducting from a similar year truck? i have rear hvac but it would be cool to add 2 extra vents down low. well, sorry for the book i just wrote, but maybe others have had the same thoughts and this will help more than just me....?

thanx for any and all help!

It should work console wise. Electronic wise????? The brackets should mount the same right under the seats. I just took my middle seat out and under it looks like 2 studs the console would bolt down to.
