We have an 01 Tahoe, and the cruise hasn't worked since we got it. Other than fuses, I what else could the problem be?

Also there is an orange wire sticking out where the gear shift meets the steering column. My husband was looking at it one day & it just broke. But we don't know what it goes to.

I'm really not sure. Never really paid attention to them, other than noticing the blacked out lenses. But I do know we don't have standard headlights, except for high beams.

I just posted this same question. Bought my '04, drove it home and cruise worked great. Put LED taillights and a Bluetooth touchscreen stereo in it and no cruise now. Ideas?

LED Tail lights WILL stop your cruise control from working! You need to put in a resistor to make it work again.
