Escalade Roof Rack Conversion

Question - have a 2007 Z71 Tahoe - want to do the Escalade roof rack conversion - do I have to get one from a 07/08 or can I use one from an earlier year model? I realize that the body styles changed with the 2007 model but wondering if those who has done this and what they have used? TIA

I do not have the "for sure" answer for this but I would suggest using the new one. There were so many changes for 2007 I wouldn't think that anything would line up. I am sure that the roof line/ contour didn't change but bolt holes and everything else probably did. Just my two cents.

I think you gotta go wit your body style. Don't think 2006 or below will fit a 2007. Not sure tho.

The 2001 and up roof racks work on the 07-08's as well. Mine came from a 07..
