So I am newbie here but I need somewhere to vent. I've had my Hoe' for two weeks and today it got hit!! I take the train to work so I don't even drive to work and this was my first time bringing it to my job. This is my third time I've driven it including when I drove it off the lot.I parked it in the company garage and I was going to go to lunch with some of my coworkers and one of them noticed a scratch on the bumper. I was so pissed!! The car that parked next to mine hit my car when they were parking. I went to the building manager and explained to him what had happened. He found out who hit my car and had her called me. She gave me this sob story about how she feels like a criminal for not telling anyone. I was still pissed so I told her that I was going to take it to body shop and get it fixed and she had to pay for the damages. Needless to say I am pissed right now no matter what!!:cuss:

I learned my lesson, don't bring my car to work bacause some idiot will hit it!!!

I totally feel for you...!!!
I never elaborated on this, but when mine had 209 miles on it,(425 on it now), I was stopped in traffic. This lil ol man decided it would be in his best interest to squeeze past me on the left so he could get into a turning lane. Well here I am listening to the radio, enjoying my new ride, and the Truck starts to wobble. I look in my mirror and I see this guy in his '87 Lebaron, gouging my L/R Qtr panel with his mirror. Needless to say I flipped. Regardless of the fact that I'm in the business, I still was freekin livid that this happened :cuss: .
His Insurance paid for the damage and car rental while I had mine in the shop.
It killed me that my new truck was no longer a Virgin.
So yes I can relate to your pain in the closest way possible.....:cryin:

That sucks, sorry to hear that. What is worse is you have to live without you're truck for a while.

Guess it really depends on how bad the damage is. I know you only had it for a short time and a "little" scratch may seem REALLY BIG right now. It may be a one day job. Body shops are that good now... I bought my Tahoe two weeks ago and just last week found a scratch on the hood while @ work. Needless to say, I was just as hot as you were. Called the wife @ her place of business and vented just like you! People don't understand that vehicles (like ours) these days cost nearly a quarter what you would pay for a decent house! I, like you, want to take care of that investment! But they don't care, simply because they aren't paying the :ack: car note!!!

Back to the body shop... Once, my Max got hit, just a couple months after I drove it off the sales lot. It was parked and someone side-swiped it on the right front fender. It was dented AND scratched...pretty bad. Wish I could show you the pics. But, after reporting it, my insurance company took care of it in one day. The job wasn't "perfect", mind you...but I was satisfied... And @ the same time, I was given a brand new Durango for my rental. It was kinda cool @ the time...

Anyway, you'll come to a point when you will cool off and it won't be that bad. BUT, if it were me...MAN-----:mad2:

I was at a stop light and I got rear ended and I had the truck for 4 months. I felt a soft thump and I told my daughter to stop kicking the seat, well a small car had hit me, luckily the only damage was a scratched rear bumper and I just threw on some touch up paint as it would be more hassle than it's worth to report it to my insurance company. The car that hit me bolted, so now my truck isent a virgin either.
