So I've had a Viper 160XV installed in my 05 Tahoe before. Recently took that out for another vehicle and put in a Viper 5501. The bypass module is still the same (XK01). The truck remote starts up fine. But when it's left untouched for a few hours, I cannot lock/unlock with the remote start. But once I start the truck and shut it off, I can lock/unlock no problem. I believe that the truck's lock/unlock is in the sleep mode and for some reason cannot be waken up by either the module or the remote start brain. Interesting thing is when I press lock/unlock, I can hear the parking lights relay click, but no actual lock/unlock of the doors.
