I would like to hook a i pod up directly to my stock stereo. I have a 01 with a stock stereo (am/fm/single cd) There is a AUX button on the stereo but no visible jacks. Does anyone know if there is a hidden jack or any other way to hook up an i pod?

Does your Tahoe come with the base stereo? If yes, then there is no way to hook up without an accessory to the head unit. You're probably better off getting aftermarket if you're to add an accessory.

You may want to post this question in the pre-07 model year forum. They may have more answers to your question. In 01 car manufacturers didn't have mp3 jacks in the vehicles.
