When i put my foot into it i get my power in little bunches. I cant get consistent exeleration, it gives a little then hesitates and gives a little etc etc until it gets up to speed. It gets especially bad on hills, new fuel pump possibly?

No problem with overheating? Inspect the entire ignition system, from plug wires, timing, cap/rotor wear, etc. Could also be a dirty fuel filter or weak pump, possibly even clogged cats.
