need help, chopped exhaust b4 axel horrible drone

I was really excited to install cold air intake, headers, y pipe, 3" back to spintech exhaust, turned down b4 axel....



HORRIBLE DRONE... HORRIBLE.

has anyone ever chopped b4 axel and kept it quiet. im now going for as quiet as possible.

im thinking installing a resonator and a stock exhaust with 3" in and 3" out..
would like to know other peoples experiances...

I did the same thing with a flowmaster and it was really annoying. So I just welded the tail pipe back on and it sounds just right. My cats were 60% so when I put new cats in it was too loud. Try that I bet yours were clogged to. I don't have headers though.
