NoOb here but not new to forums and not new to GM vehicles. Do most of my own work. Bro has been a GM mechanic for over 20 something years. Recently purchased an 01 Tahoe LT for my DJ business and already was looking to mod something. Heres what I did this afternoon. I installed new tails, Headlights, blinkers and rain guards. De-bagding tomorrow.

PS: Cant an Admin or Moderator add a "Members Ride" section??? That would keep members rides in one location and give us a place to posts updated pics etc etc.

I am wondering where you guys that have 'em are getting the black bow-ties for the grille? I am about to start dressing my Tahoe and I think that would look great, this is how it is now.

You can remove and paint yours, a lot of those you see that are black have just been painted.

Most of the time they consider your profile photo album as the place to do that, but you can send a private message to Shaggy or BIRDMAN and ask. You could also start a thread asking about it and include a voting poll to determine whether the other members support the idea as well.

does anyone know the specs on these rims and tires? im in the process of shopping for new shoes for my tahoe and i love this set up

IDK, but I like that set up as well, would like to know the same thing.


MY rides include a 2003 Dmax ZF-6 4x4, 2004 Yukon Denali and my oldest son's 2005 Colorado and my youngest son's "Racecar"

Some sweet looking rides here!! Love all of the upgrades and mods folks are doing. This site has definately given me some ideas that I will put my own spin on in the near future. Would LOVE to do some performance mods, but the Gas mileage...OUCH! clkelley, thanks for the tip. I guess ive been spoiled by other forums I am a member of.

Painting definately gives you bragging rights, but buying one gives you more time to do something else to your ride!
