So I am having my bumpers powder coated tomorrow. I am removing the bumpers and taking them to the powder coater.

I have the rear bumper unbolted and loose from the truck, but i cant figure out how to get the lock assembly out. I was going to pry on it a little, but i thought i would post a thread before i go off and break something. Anyone have a little trick to get that thing out?

Answered my own question. You can still pull the bumper off with the lock assembly attached, There are about 30 little teeth that hold it in from the back side of the bumper. Just bend the teeth up with a little screwdriver and it will slide right out.
