XM Radio help!!

I just bought a used 2004 Hoe...it came with XMradio Stock as part of the sterio! I just went to get the code to hook it up and noticed it seemed like it was already on....BUT...i only get like 7 different genres and in those genres i can only get 1 or 2 channels. So i have CNN,FOXNews, Ophra, Disney, 70's and something else.
It seems like it might be parental block seeing that there are no Comedy or HipHop channels to be found...anyone ever heard of this problem??
I'm affraid to call XM cause if i can get it to work for free...why not right?!?!
But it seems as if my service is limited for some reason.

I think you will have to pay to get the rest of the channels - I recall my XM unit giving me a few "demo" channels too before I got it activated.
