Yukon Denali Diesel

We just got a new (to us) Yukon Denali XL. While I was snooping around the engine compartment the first two things I noticed was the huge amount of space in there even with the 6.3L. Along with that was the spot for a second battery. I asked the question and was told that it is there because the Yukons have an optional duramax diesel available. I've never heard of that and was wondering if anyone had any information on a diesel yukon. (haven't been able to get anything in any online searches).

Anyone ever done a conversion with theirs? Just curious.

i think some 2500 Suberbans have an optional Diesel...it makes sense because if they can put it in the pickups, they can put it in the suberbans.

if someone told me it wasnt available the yukons, i would believe it.
