So as i still contiplate getting my BB tune... something was brought to my attention. I have an extended warranty that will take me well into 100K and in my warranty paperwork it says not to fvck with the PCM.
My logic was if i just kept my stock PCM and replaced it when i had to go in for warranty work than no one would be the wiser.
Someone had mentioned that if I did this (ran my truck with a BB PCM and than put the stocker back in if i needed to take the truck to the shop) that the shop would be able to tell that i had not been running my stock pcm and would just void my warranty anyways.
Is this true? Can a shop tell that i have pulled my PCM?
