So I am going to install the Magnaflow catback system tommorow. 2 questions:
1.--when I cut the muffler from the truck, so i do it right in front of it?

2. I am not fully confident in these band clamps, is it necessary to tack weld?

Thanks for the help!!!!

P.S. I am getting my blackbear tune this week, I will post results!!!

I cut mine in front of the top of the bend over the rear axle. Band clamps work great. Just be sure to torque to specs.

X2. If you can get your truck lifted enough (if you have a lift), you dont really have to cut anything. But cutting at the bend is your best bet.

I did mine in the driveway and just put a jackstand under right rear.

Did mine w/ no lift and had it done in just over a half hour. Easiest exhaust system I have ever installed. Good luck!
