Just wondering:
a) How many O2 sensors are on our 03 Hoes?
b) Where are they located?
3) How easy are they to replace?

4 total. 2 before the cats and two after the cats. Fairly straight forward to remove and re-install. Unplug the connector then unscrew the O2 sensor. They may be frozen because of the constant heating and cooling cycles, so have some type of penetrant like Liquid Wrench or WD-40 on hand just in case.

Would you guys know what the normal service life is for the O2 sensors?

100,000 mile service item (like the spark plugs)?

Thanks...

Yeah, the problem is I bought the vehicle used and don't know what kind of maintenance schedule was kept so might as well this way I know it was done. OK, I found the two (guessing post Cat) O2 sensors on the downward turn of the exhaust from the engine. Does anyone have any pictures as to the ones before...am going to go look after the engine cools down a bit, but any help is appreciated.

There is not an actual preset life span for them. like plugs and wires and oil

They could go at 50k or even last to 150k
