Last Friday my 08 Tahoe with 60K miles left me stranded because one of the heater hoses broke off where it meets the plastic adaptor that plugs into the heater core pipes. After doing some research I learned that those plastic adaptors are a know issue on this trucks. The question is, what other parts should I look into changing in order to avoid possible problems. Are there any other known issues with this truck that I should take care as preventive measure? The car will be 10 years old in a couple of months. Thermostat, water pump come into my mid. Any suggestion out there? In general I am a happy Tahoe owner. Your feedback is appreciated.
