My rear wiper hits the edge of the hatch when it returns to the parked position. It is scratching the paint and doesn't seem to rest properly on the block it rests on. Is this common? My dealer says it is working properly, but I hate to use the rear wiper because of the damage to the paint. Thanks for any help.

I would ask the dealer to change the entire arm assy to see if problem goes away. He can take it off another Hoe or Burbon. He can always put it back on vehicle he took it off of. Mine isnt scratching the gate at all, I use it all the time.
Another thing to look at is the shaft coming through the gate that the arm mounts on. There really isnt a whole lot to it. Motor (shaft), arm & blade. Possibly the motor came loose? (Longshot)
