the weight of the wheels. I went from factory 16s to 24s on mine and i noticed a big difference....I bought the truck brand new so i know where its been. The only fix is to get a lower gear ratio on the diffirential....I put 4.11s and it runs better than it did with the original tires and gear...

Solution:
Replaced rear tailight fuses under the hood on the driver's side fuse box in the engine bay
The factory alarm is not very good. I had my 05 hoe stolen a little over 2 weeks ago. I had the factory allarm and this

I got lucky and OnStar was able to locate it and notify the police within 2 hours from when i reported it stolen. All that was...
Ive seen Hoes with the Caddy bumpers, with the Denali bumpers and the best looking one ive seen is one that had the Silverado SS bumper on it. Dont ask how it bolted up or anything. I saw it on the freeway and the truck was on 06 (i could tell by the "shark fin" OnStar antenna) and it had the...

Its hard for me to get the right color pitch on HIDs. These are the 6000Ks on my truck. This was taken at 11:30am this morning. They are pure white with a slint tint of purple/blue but i dont know how to get the camera to pickup the colors really good. I'll post some up later as it gets darker...

2005 Tahoe. Some of the lights have gone out on some of the steering wheel controls on my truck. Does anyone here know how to replace the whole button/control or bulb? Im kinda sure im gonna have to replace the whole thing. Anyone?
Go with Akebono PRO Act Ceramic Pads. OE Manufacturer for brake pads on all GM 800 Trucks! I work for an undercar wholesale distributor. The Akebonos work better than anything! KYB shocks are good. Go with the monomax (the red ones) you'll have "like new" brake feel and "like new" ride quality!
Depressing the parking brake deactivates the headlights only on the older trucks. (Pre 03 if im not mistaken) I have had HIDs on my 05 for 2 years now and i havent had any problems with them considering they technically turn on twice when i start the truck up at night
ive gotten 2 HID kits from ebay. No problems at all. The First one was $150 (BPi) and i bought that like 2 years ago and i bought a second set in December for $75 (Xentec). No problems with either EVER. and the $75 dollar Xentec ones look a lot better than the $150 ones ever did. No cutting...
you can make a mean engine out of a 5.3. To make a long story short, stay with your 5.3 and work it. If you have a high milage 5.3 then get a complete rebuild kit with higher compression pistons but if its not too high and not abused, you can get a re-ring kit and buy/install higher compression...
