My '02 yukon XL denali 6.0 does great for a tow rig, I pull a 23 ft toy hauler and even on the hills it does alright, if doing alot of towing I would go to a diesel though, the 6.0 does strain a bit much for that big of a trailer but does pretty good!!

Does the water a little smell sweet (antifreeze) or does it just smell like dirty water? Mufflers can get condensation in them, especally when cold outside, from driving (hot exhaust) and then letting it sit.

I wouldn't touch an O2 sensor until you believe there is a problem with one, they are exposed to heat all the time and can get brittle, plus from what I hear is Justin can tell when doing your tune if one isn't working right, replace it then.

Yeah it was held on by that strap, I loosed up both bolts and kinda tapped it and it just slid out (after I unscrewed the fuel fittings first). I did jack up the side of the truck some so I could use my creeper, it was suprisingly easy compared to the ones I've done in the past!!

I notice that some synthetic gear oil products have a limited slip additive in them already (redline sells some with and without), I need to be sure to get the stuff without that additive, right? Would gear oil with that additive in it built in it cause problems for a denali front and rear def.?

I changed out my filter today on my denali, by far the easiest filter change I have ever done, in and out in 5 minutes, can't believe how easy it was to get to. I didn't have any black gunk but the fuel wasn't the most pristine so it was a worthy venture.
