Blower Motor

O.k. ive got a strange problem with my heat/a/c. ive got low medium but when i put it to high it shuts off anyone else out there have this problem???? please help

I have the same problem with my 95. If I put mine on High I get "tapping" noise. I have a new blower motor and A/C controls, I just haven't put them in yet. Sucks with out high!

i put the new heat controller in and it does the same thing, im stumpted

have you changed the blower resistor pack?

no where is the resistor pack located?

Pull the control panel out and seperate the wires from touching each other. Does High start?

If so, there's a fix. Go to the dealer and get part number:
GM # 15306189

There was a case of bad insulation on the wires and this is the kit to replace the wire ends.

I've also had to replace my switch. I hope this helps.
