My vote is bench too, but I do wish it is a 60/40 instead of 50/50. With 2nd row buckets, if we go on vacation we need to take out one of the 3rd row for luggage, then the Tahoe is a 5 seater. However, with 60/40, we can conceivably take out one and still make it a 6 seater.
The 3rd row seat need a strap to pull from the folded position to the upright position. I can't tell you how many times I got my pants dirty from touching the dirty wet back bumper (after rain) trying to pull up the seat backs. :(
Does your Tahoe come with the base stereo? If yes, then there is no way to hook up without an accessory to the head unit. You're probably better off getting aftermarket if you're to add an accessory.
Unless GM does some major redesign on the interface to iPod, I won't get the PAL in the Tahoe. I have PAL in my HHR and it is not intuitive nor is it friendly to use. Not all the iPod functions are available through steering wheel controls. :cuss:  :mad2:
Hey, just in case you guys are interested in some modding... I found this on the 07 Chevy Avalanche site. This thread is on how to keep your DRLs on full time as well as having all lights stay on (stock has the fogs turn off when high beams are on)...
Well, if you consider SAAB being a GM brand as US manufacturer, then yes GM has that feature.
My pet peeve is that the instrument cluster is so much brighter than the radio and DIC displays. So when I turn down the IP lights at night, the radio & DIC are very dim... but the problem comes...
