well papers were signed, all things good, I BOUGHT IT AND SHE IS HOME. has everything i ever wanted, excedes all my expectations, one of the finest suvs i have ever driven much less owned, solid as a rock, has power and throttle responce like the vette (ok not really but this big thing can move) the stock gm exhaust is throaty and i lOVE IT, it feels like a tank, feels like i could fit my old yukon in it, will get pics as soon as i get home, right now were all out to eat and im on my iphone posting.



I LOVE THE NEW TRUCK SMELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

was sad to see my 06 go and still am kinda sad but boy do i LOVE WHAT IM DRIVING NOW. BEST SUV EVER!!!!!!!!

lol, im kinda sad i got rid of the old one, and really 3/4 tempted to go buy it from the dealer, but that would defeat the purpose of getting a new one so i have a warrenty.

plus i have gap insurance, dent and ding coverage, windshield replacement, stain, leather rip and gash insurance. plus tuesday it goes in for the 2 way remote system, as well as applying a protective cover for the interior and exterior. i was happy to add them because im sure im gunna get dents and dings over the years to come. plus my B2B warrenty is extended until 120k or 84 months. very happy about my deal.


worked out this way.

they gave me 16k for my 06. and i got 34 out the door. headrest tv's were back ordered so i said give me the mola back for them and i will take it someware else. im researching that now and will get them done in a week, month, 3 months, or when ever i feel like it. i really dont need them soon, i just want them.

sure is. 26 mpg with a 300 hp northstar v-8. my daily driver until i sold the 06, now the new one is my DD since i love to drive it so much. smooth as silk and solid as a rock even at 104k miles, starts up every time, its a 98 and the warrenty ran out about 6 years ago. put only 3k in repairs, smoothes engine ever built, wish the gm suvs had them.

o yea and there is a 95 ford mustang behind it. with a fabric top, in the garage is an 07 corvette with a fabric top, and next to that is a 84 mercedes 380sl with a fabric top, all red and corvette has black interior, but the mustang and benz have tan, much like the new yukon has. im red convertable crazy!!! :lol:

i called my dealer friend in chicago who my dad personally knows and has know him since they were like 16, and he said black book was 18-20.

i only got 16 for it because they had about 50 (yes 50) 08 yukon' some denali's on the lot. they came down a ton off the sticker of the new one (sticker was 50, i paid about 34k) so their only bargin was the trade in. times are tuff for these big suv. i was expecting a low offer but not that low. but their first offer was 12 so i guess 16 is better than 12.

Nice pick man, you're gonna love it. Still don't know how you got from a 50 sticker to a 34 price, couldn't get sweeter than that. Mine went from 53.5 to 43 after all rebates, so your still like 5500 better off than me. Cool though, but yeah, welcome to the full size GM world (just kidding man, but try not to tow any houses with it)! Oh, and can you tell me more about that extended warranty? I thought I had it good with 7 yrs/84k bumper to bumper, if there's better I'm going back there on Monday.
